Criteria for Grant Proposals
| Geographic Scope: | Primarily Momence II, Oxford NC, Nash County NC, Lancaster PA, Kenbridge VA, Richmond VA, Grandview WA, and Prosser WA | Focus: | Non-Profit organizations in areas where our employees live and work | Projected Giving Fiscal Year 2024: | Approximately $800,000 | Grant Range: | $5,000 - $25,000 | Eligibility Requirement: | 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organizations | Foundation Fiscal Year: | July 1 - June 30 | Types of Support Include: | Project and/or program support, equipment support or general support |
The Foundation DOES NOT support the following:
- Non-Profits that have not been designated 501(c)(3)
- Individuals or an individual's project or program
- Political, advocacy or labor organizations or fundraising events
- Events or programs where the grant is not fully tax deductible
- Organizations located outside the areas in which the Company has a physical presence
- Organizations or programs that restrict or otherwise limit membership and services based on race, religion, color, creed, sex, age or national origin
Application Submission Procedures
Please complete and submit a Universal Leaf Foundation Coversheet by clicking HERE.
Next, submit via the Foundation’s email address listed below or via mail the following four items: written grant proposal/request that includes a description of the organization's history and goals, the purpose for which the funds are being requested (including the amount of the request), a copy of the IRS letter confirming tax-exempt status and your organization's most recent financial statement. All proposal packages for Fiscal Year 2025 should be submitted between April 1, 2024 and June 15, 2024.
Once your proposal package is received, we will match it up with your previously-submitted coversheet.
